Global Youth Poll Reveals Today’s Needs and Future Trends
Global Youth Poll aims to help the next generation lead… and current leaders listen
January 25, 2018. Davos. – Most of today’s youth are satisfied with their lives overall, but regional unhappiness and global negativity on education show where key efforts are necessary. This, according to new research from Media Tenor International presented today at the World Economic Forum in its Global Youth Poll white paper.
“The Global Youth Poll will provide quarterly data on the state of youth around the world, but unlike previous initiatives of this nature, will focus on youth voices,” says Roland Schatz, founder and CEO of Media Tenor. “To make sure we gather the most accurate data possible, this survey of youth will be conducted by youth. The poll is also partnering with the World Association of Public Opinion Research, the UNGSII, and the YMCA.”
At Media Tenor’s SDG Lab at the World Economic Forum, experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities faced by today’s youth. Participants include John Vilhelm Eltvik, CEO of Global YMCA; Dr. Benjamin Grosch, Partner at BCG; Tom Root, a board member of the GCH Foudation and CEO of HopSports; Michelle Schatz of GYP; and Franz Tepe, member of the board at ZEG eG.
Partnering with the UNGSII, Media Tenor's Global Youth Poll provides a scientific perspective that maps and evaluates global issues.
